Hey all--
The WORT block party is on the 200 block of MLK blvd this year. That's down by the capitol, between the capitol and Lake Monona. You'll see the people and hear the bands in front of the city/county building. Here's a little more info about what's happening at the block party besides PHEP. This should be a great opportunity to talk with lots of folks and raise some funds.
peace,
amy
Info on the WORT Block Party
The fun starts at 11 am and continues until 7 pm. As always, there will be a wide variety of live music, children’s activities, food from around the world, art and craft vendors and a beer garden featuring fine Wisconsin brews! We will also have a raffle with fabulous prizes donated by area businesses.
Once again WORT has teamed up with the Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild to procure the area’s finest award-winning microbrews. WORT’s 11th Annual “No Crap on Tap” Beer Garden will feature various beers from many local breweries.
The WORT Block Party is a free event and all are invited. So, pass the word and bring the whole family to join in the fun while supporting Madison’s community radio station!
