When the Assembly under the leadership of Mary Williams came North, she was allowed to literally ignore the public. In her position one would expect an organized, thoughtful, and open-minded person. Instead, we had to contend with Ms Williams and her cronies. Mary Williams has no business serving in the legislature, let alone sitting as Chair of this committee. Not only was she unprepared, her demenaor and pandering to GTac's Bill Williams destroyed any credibility she may have had as fair and impartial politician. Simply put, she looked like a fool. Williams constantly deferred to Williams as a mining expert and either intentinally or unintentionally ignored the fact that he is also a registered lobbyist for GTac. Either way, as Chair she should be expected to present the facts. Because she did not, she should relinquish her position as chair and apologize for her oversight.
